DESCRIPTION:The Washington State Tree Fruit Association (WSTFA) will host the 119th Annual Meeting Presented by Orchard Robotics and NW Hort Expo at the Three Rivers Convention Convention Center in Kennewick\, WA on December 4th \, 5th\, & 6th 2023.  The Annual Meeting Presented by Orchard Robotics will continue the tradition of hosting the largest tree fruit educational gathering in the country. \nThe three-day event serves as a forum to discuss the latest trends and hot topics within the tree fruit industry. \nOn December 5th\, our Director – Ananth Kalyanaraman\, will be presenting updates on the work that AgAID has been doing. \nYou can register here

DESCRIPTION:HiPC 2023 Technical Program\n\n\n\n\n30th IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING\, DATA\, & ANALYTICS\n\n\nThis US-India Collaboration in Digital Ag Workshop/BOF Session is a full day\, in-person workshop at the HiPC Conference in Goa\, India on Monday December 18\, 2023. The day will feature several invited talks\, an industry session\, breakout group discussions\, and a panel\, with participants from US and Indian academia\, government\, and industry sectors. This workshop follows a successful Birds of a Feather session at HiPC’22. \nGoals: \n\nIdentify major areas and specific topics where AI and data science technologies can help within the Indian agriculture ecosystem\nIdentify new opportunities to set up R&D initiatives toward a stronger U.S.-India R&D collaboration in digital agriculture\n\nThe workshop will cover several topics in digital agriculture including (but not limited to) precision agriculture\, ag robotics\, climate impacts on agriculture and resource management\, geospatial informatics\, optimization in food supply chain\, accessible/affordable technologies\, data sharing policies\, workforce training\, and AI literacy. DESCRIPTION:Washington Friends of Farms & Forests supports producers of food and fiber by working to ensure a science-based regulatory system in Washington State\n\n\n\nWe work for greater public understanding of the challenges faced by producers of food and fiber. Our membership is made up of farmers\, timber producers\, nursery owners\, landscapers and others who promote the responsible stewardship of \nWashington’s land\, air and water.\n\n\n\nPlease join WA Friends members at the Annual Meeting followed by the Holiday Party in Olympia on TODAY–December 18 starting at 3:30 pm. The Holiday Party will start at 5:30pm at Anthonys Homeport immediately following the Annual Meeting.
